PPG synchro gear sets feature specially engineered tooth profiles capable of transmitting massive torque outputs. Straight cut tooth proiles are recommended for racing applications with extreme shockloading while helical cut profile is recommended for street applications requiring quiet operation. It is possible to combine 1st/2nd straight cut with helical 3rd/4th at no additional cost. Strongly recommended for applications exceeding the limitations of the RA or STi gears.
